THREE dialysis patients from Minalin town have contracted the novel coronavirus, said Mayor Edgar Flores.
Flores said all three patients are senior citizens and are regularly undergoing dialysis treatment at the GreenCity Medical Center in the City of San Fernando, one of the most frequented RT-PCR testing centers for Covid-19 in the province.
The first patient is a 77-year-old male from Barangay Sto. Rosario, while the two other patients -- a 67-year-old male and 83-year-old female-- are both from Barangay San Nicolas, Minalin.
The mayor said the female patient has already succumbed to the disease while the two others are still at a government isolation facility.
As of Wednesday, September 2, Flores said there are a total of 48 confirmed Covid-19 cases in the town, of which only nine are active, 32 have recovered and four have died.
