3 wanted personalities nabbed in Pampanga

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- Three wanted personalities were nabbed by police authorities in a series of manhunt operations conducted in Pampanga city and towns on Wednesday morning.

In Mabalacat City, Art Joseph Canlas, 19, who is wanted for perjury and offering of false testimony, was arrested by virtue of arrest warrant issued by Rochelle Santos Manuel, Presiding Judge of Municipal Trial Court in Cities, Branch 2 in Angeles City.

Joint elements of Apalit Police Station in this province and Pilar Police Station in Bataan province also arrested Virginia Pinlac, 34, in Barangay Sta. Rosa, Pilar, Bataan.

Pinlac was wanted for allegedly committing theft cases and was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by Judge Araceli Soñas-Crisostomo of Municipal Circuit Trial Court in Apalit and San Simon in this province with a recommended bail of P36,000.

Another manhunt operation was conducted by authorities of City of San Fernando police in Barangay San Pedro Cutud which led to the arrest of Jay-R Tongol, 29, and wanted for robbery of uninhabited place.

A bail of P36,000 was recommended on his arrest warrant issued by Richard G. Evangelista, Presiding Judge, 2nd Municipal Circuit Trial Court, Mexico-San Luis, Pampanga dated May 11, 2018.

Pampanga Police Provincial Office Director Senior Superintendent Nicolas Salvador said that the arrests of the wanted personalities are results of the continuous intensified manhunt operation implemented all over the province.

“These series of Manhunt Charlie accomplishments were the results of hard work and dedication by the police force in capturing wanted criminals and I commend the Chiefs of Police and personnel involved in the said successful operations,” Salvador said.
