CITY OF SAN FERNANDO The 3rd Luzon Mango Congress and the 1st Philippine Mango Derby will be held on April 27 to 29 in Zambales province.
The Mango Congress serves as a platform for industry key players to discuss the latest trends and updates and tackle challenges of mango production, which is seen as one of the Philippines’ leading industries.
This year's event is presented and hosted by the United Luzon Mango Stakeholders Association, Region 3 Mango Stakeholders Association in cooperation with the Department of Agriculture.
The event seeks to discuss and address current challenges in the industry including pest infestation, high production raw material and production costs, decline in production, and climate change.
The results of the discussion will help in forming new strategies to build a more sustainable future for the mango industry.
