THE Philippine National Police Anti-Cybercrime Group (ACG) on Tuesday, February 2, arrested an American and three Filipinos and rescued two teenage girls as operatives swooped down during an evening rain on a suspected cyberpornography den at JO3 Kandi Tower, Flora Street in Barangay Malabanias, Angeles City.

Philippine National Police (PNP) chief General Debold Sinas, in a statement furnished SunStar Pampanga on Wednesday, identified the suspects as American national Easton Scot Sanderson who is staying at the tower, and his alleged Filipino cohorts Renelyn Robles, a resident of 16 Ulingan Street Lawang Bato, Valenzuela City; Jann Arielle Mondejar of San Lorenzo South, Barangay Malitlit, Sta. Rosa City, Laguna; and Shirley Martinez, a resident of Barangay Sta Rita, Calbayog City.

Sinas said upon debriefing, the victims disclosed that Mondejar recruited them as models and introduced them to Sanderson, who in turn allegedly forced them to have sex with him while Robles and Martinez recorded the acts on video for uploading on pornographic sites.

The ACG investigators are coordinating with agents from the US Federal Bureau of Investigation to identify porn sites where the syndicate uploads sex videos, which can be used as added evidence in prosecution, Sinas furthered.

"The PNP is going after traffickers who prey on women for sexual exploitation. We urge the public to report to us similar illegal activities for immediate police intervention,” Sinas said.

The suspects will be charged with the violation of Republic Act 10360 or the Anti-Human Trafficking Act in relation to Section 6 of RA 10175 or the Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012.
