FORTY-FIVE overseas Kapampangans were able to return home safely through the “Balik Pinas, Balik Pampanga Program” after they tested negative for the coronavirus.

The returnees have been safely ferried back to their respective homes in the province after undergoing the standard quarantine protocols.

The "Balik Pinas, Balik Pampanga" program fast-tracks the processing of repatriated Kapampangan overseas Filipino workers (OFWs), including non-working individuals, to their families after months of being stranded across the globe.

The province had extended assistance to the returning overseas Kapampangans through RT-PCR testing and mandatory quarantine in government quarantine facilities.

The province helps process their quarantine results and even ferries them to their respective towns and cities after quarantine.

Currently, 5,477 Kapampangans have been assisted through the said program, 165 are currently quarantined in New Clark City and 5,312 have been safely repatriated.
