AC continues anti-rabies vax

THE city government, through its City Veterinary Office, on July 8, 2022 conducted free anti-rabies vaccination of dogs and cats in Barangay Pulungbulu.

The City Veterinary Office, led by Dr. Christian Xyric Arcilla, has scheduled vaccinations of animals in the city’s 33 barangays.

Executive Assistant IV Reina Manuel said the project was initiated by the city government as soon as Mayor Carmelo ‘Pogi’ Lazatin Jr., took office.

The program is supervised by his Chief Adviser IC Calaguas.

The city government, Lazatin said, wants to promote responsible pet ownership among Angeleño households by the free programs being provided by the city government.

In observance of the safety and health protocols against COVID-19, the City Veterinary Office will visit the 33 barangays by schedule.

Pet owners are required to wear face masks and observe social distancing. (PR)
