THE Angeles City Government is set to hold an exhibit showcasing locally-made products of Micro, Small, Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) displayed at the One Town One Product (Otop) store at SM City Clark.

The exhibit, which is part of Mayor Carmelo Lazatin Jr.'s campaign for "Pasal-One, Angeleño Pa!" will be held from December 17 to 20.

Lazatin said the free space offered by SM City Clark has been an avenue for promotional exhibits of local MSMEs products for the public.

He then expressed gratitude to the officials of the SM Supermall for helping the City Government in its objective of championing Gawang Angeleño products.

"This will not be possible if not for our partnership with SM City Clark. Executive Assistant IV Reina Manuel is in constant coordination with SM City Clark to assist our local MSMEs in promoting their own crafts such as home decorations, wooden kitchen wares, kitchen organizers, fashion accessories, and bags," Lazatin added.

"Thank you to SM, to Andrea Madlangbayan of SM for reaching out to the city government in this project, thank you," he said.

Manuel said this is also the best time for local merchants to showcase their Gawang Angeleño products for the gift-giving season.

"This will be a great opportunity for our local merchants this holiday season to flaunt their own crafts and products by showing how high-quality and world-class Gawang Angeleño products are," Manuel said.

It can be recalled that the Angeles City Economic Development Investment Promotions Office (Acedipo), led by Irish Bonus-Llego, with Manuel and Chief Adviser and Tactician Director IC Calaguas, had hosted a Facebook live selling "12.12 Christmas Otop sale" of 16 local merchants displaying their products at the Otop store.

Bonus-Llego called this live selling as historic, the first ever in the Otop store.

"In this time of pandemic, the City Government is in all-out-support to assist them on getting back on their feet, especially the local small businesses in the city," she said.

The Acedipo head is urging Angelen?os to support local merchants, promoting "Pasal-One, Angeleño Pa."
