ANGELES City Mayor Carmelo "Pogi" Lazatin Jr. continues to distribute free supplies to public elementary schools in Aneles City.

Lazatin visited five public schools and five daycare centers on September 11.

Some 8,731 public school students and 211 daycare learners received their backpacks with complete sets of school supplies including textbooks, crayons, coloring pads, notebooks, pens and school shirts paired with a set of shoes and socks.

Lazatin was joined by Vice Mayor Vicky Vega-Cabigting; City Councilors Arvin Suller, Dan Lacson, Edu Pamintuan, Alex Indiongco, Cris Cortez, and Sangguniang Kabataan President Arnoah Mandani during the distribution of school gear.

Lazatin has already distributed school gear to five public schools and 21 child development centers.

The distribution of items to the other 50 public schools and 51 daycare centers will follow suit.

With the supervision of Chief Adviser IC Calaguas and Executive Assistant IV Reina Manuel, members of the City Nutrition Office, and City Social Welfare and Development Office joined and assisted Mayor Lazatin in the set distribution.

One of the promises of Lazatin is to provide quality and accessible education.

"No Angeleño youth will be left behind in terms of education,” Lazatin said.
