MAYOR Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr., together with PAGCOR Chairperson Andrea Domingo and First District Representative Carmelo “Jon” Lazatin II, inaugurated the new four-storey building at the City College of Angeles on Friday.
Lazatin said that with the newly-built 20 classrooms, the CCA can accommodate more Angeleño scholars, offer additional courses, and hire more professional teachers.
CCA President Dr. Frankie Villanueva already announced then that the city college will implement a hybrid methodology of learning to accommodate the tremendous growth in the number of students applying at the CCA.
The CCA now offers 13 courses, far from only three courses available during its opening in 2010.
Vice Mayor Vicenta Vega-Cabigting, members of the City Council, Clark International Airport Corporation Vice President for Operations IC Calaguas, CCA President Villanueva, Executive Assistant V Raffy Angeles, Executive Assistant IV Reina Manuel, Office of Cong. Lazatin Chief-of-Staff Jannie Sarmiento, Casino Filipino Angeles General Manager Redentor Rivera, Vice President Corporate Social Responsibility Group Stephen Villaflor, Angeles City Economic Development Investment and Promotions Officer-in-Charge Irish Bonus-Llego were also present during the inspection.
