BM Pineda inspects schools in Bacolor

BACOLOR Second district board member Mylyn Pineda Cayabyab visited three elementary schools in Bacolor town on Thursday.

This is part of her ongoing school inspection in aid of possible legislation and support in terms of allocation for facilities and programs.

The board member, who is the chair of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan Committee on Education, said her visits to schools provide a clear picture of the status and needs of elementary schools in the different municipalities and cities of the province.

Cayabyab visited San Isidro Elementary School, Potrero Elementary School and Tinajero Elementary School.

Cayabyab brought with her food, slippers, and other household items which she distributed to the students and teachers.

The board member recently visited schools in Porac, Santa, Rita, and Guagua. The lady board member will also visit coastal schools as well as elementary and high schools in San Luis and Candaba in the coming weeks.

She is being accompanied by engineers from the Capitol and the Department of Education for the immediate processing of requests for school repairs, and possible funding or referral to appropriate agencies.
