CITY OF SAN FERNANDO Fourth District Representative Anna York Bondoc was elected as the president of the House of Representatives Central Luzon bloc.
Bondoc will be leading the 24 lawmakers representing the legislative districts in the region in the 19th Congress.
Other alliances include Northern Luzon Alliance Bloc, Southern Tagalog Bloc, Metro Manila Bloc, Visayan Bloc and Mindanao Bloc.
Bondoc expressed gratitude to her fellow solons in the region for entrusting her the organization's leadership.
"Thank you so much to my colleagues and friends from Central Luzon for your trust. I will do my best to assist all of you," she said.
She also thanked second district Representatives Gloria Macapagal Arroyo who is the organization's chairman emeritus.
"My deepest thanks most of all to Madame PGMA, Chairman Emeritus of the Central Luzon Bloc, who is my mentor and guide," Bondoc said.
Central Luzon bloc vice president is San Jose Del Monte City Florida Robes.
Its treasurers are Bulacan 4th district Representative Linabelle Villarica and third district Representative Lorna Silverio.
