SPECIAL Assisstant to the President Christopher “Bong” Go will grace the 69th founding anniversary of the Pampanga Press Club at the Hilltop Restaurant, Mimosa at the Clark Freeport on Tuesday, August 28.

Go will be the PPC’s guest speaker, said PPC president Diosdado "Deng" Pangilinan.

The PPC’s 69th founding anniversary will coincide with the second anniversary of iOrbitNews, a web-based news portal run by the club.

The induction of the newly elected officers led by Pangilinan will be the highlight of the event.

Lawyer Gener Endona, Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) Pampanga chapter president, will be the inducting officer.

PPC is the country’s grandest press club established in 1949.

The club is composed of Pampanga-based reporters, correspondents, and stringers of various print and broadcast media outlets.

With some of its multi-awarded members, PPC is highly regarded for its contributions not only in Pampanga but also in nation building through its vigilance on issues affecting various communities.

PPC expressed gratitude to its benefactors including Quest Hotel, Smart Communications, North Luzon Expressway NLEX Corporation, Clark Development Corporation, Mekeni, Widus Hotel and Park Inn by Radisson Clark.
