CITY OF MALOLOS -- The Bulacan Police Provincial Office (BPPO) was among the three finalists for the Best Police Provincial Office (PPO) in the country for 2017, along with Capiz and Davao del Norte Provincial Police Offices.
Acting Bulacan Police Director Senior Superintendent Chito Bersaluna believed their accomplishments in terms of operations and their campaign against illegal drugs were the reason for their inclusion in the roster.
Bersaluna cited that Bulacan PPO has been adjudged as Best PPO in the country in 2015 and placed third in 2016.
In recent years, Bulacan police headquarters has also been named as the Best Unit in Accounting of Firearms during the Election Period; Best Unit in Accounting of Loose Firearms; and Best PPO in Central Luzon for two consecutive years.
"With this significant milestone, the men and women of Bulacan Police will be more competitive in fulfilling its mandate to enforce the law, prevent and control crimes, maintain peace and order, and ensure public safety and internal security," Bersaluna said. (PIA-Central Luzon)
