Capitol starts distribution of oximeters, thermometers

THE Provincial Government started the distribution pulse oximeters, thermometers and face shields to various municipalities and cities in Pampanga.

Governor Dennis Pineda said the face shields and thermometers will be given to indigent senior citizens and Kapampangans with comorbidities.

Among the recipients so far are the towns of Guagua, Bacolor, Mexico, Arayat, Sta. Ana and the City of San Fernando as of March 22, according to posts of the Provincial Information Office.

Meanwhile, pulse oximeter will be left to barangay health workers who will look at the oxygen level and pulse of indigent senior citizens in the province every day.

Pineda recently ordered a “household lockdown” in the province from March 20 to April 5, 2021, as he re-imposed strict conditions under the modified general community quarantine due to rising Covid-19 cases in the province and a measure to curb local transmission of the virus. (PR)
