CCA registers 86.36% passing rate

ANGELES CITY The City College of Angeles has registered an overall 86.36 percent passing rate in the March 2022 Licensure Examination for Teachers — Secondary Level.

Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr., congratulated CCA for their passing score.

“I am congratulating the CCA, including all personnel, President Dr. Frankie Villanueva, and the Angeleño scholars for always setting a milestone for Angeles City in its board exam performance,” Lazatin said.

CCA garnered 84.21 percent for the first-time takers of the board exams and 100 percent for the second-time takers.

This passing rates, according to Villanueva, are much higher than the 50.94 percent national passing rate.

Villanueva was pleased that developments such as these bring so much pride to the institution and the city.

“This encourages us to even work harder towards providing our students world-class education,” Villanueva said.

To date, CCA offers 15 courses with a student population of about 5,700.
