Clark Safari now open

THE newest tourist attraction, Clark Safari and Adventure Park, is now open.

The 40-hectare zoo, which features more than 1,500 live animals and 70 animal species, opened its doors to the public on December 8, 2021.

During its opening, Clark Safari owner Romy Sitchon, Clark Development Corporation (CDC) Chairman Edgardo Pamintuan, and CDC President and Chief Executive Officer Manuel Gaerlan led the ribbon-cutting ceremonies.

Also present during the event were CDC Chief-of-Staff Dennis Legaspi, CDC Vice President for Administration and Finance Engineer Mariza Mandocdoc, CDC Vice President for Business Development Rynah Ventura, CDC Assistant Vice President for Investment Promotions Divisions I Thelma Ocampo, and CDC Manager for Building and Facilities Permits Division Erwin Bognot.

Clark Safari can accommodate up to 2,500 visitors while implementing basic health and safety protocols set by the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) to ensure the safety of all guests.

Clark Safari owner Sitchon poured in P135 million worth of investment for the development of the zoo.

He shared that he is delighted to welcome visitors and tourists to the freeport's newest attraction after a series of lockdowns delayed its launch.

Aside from a zoo tour, visitors of Clark Safari can enjoy a variety of activities including animal interactions, picture-taking, and animal feeding, which all aims to acquaint visitors with various species of animals.

The zoo is open daily from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, including holidays. People of all ages are allowed to enter Clark Safari and Adventure Park.

Entrance fees are as follows: P399 for kids (four feet above), and P499 for adults.

Kids that are three feet below are free of charge, while senior citizens and persons with disabilities get 20 percent discount.

Expect more attractions and activities upon the completion of the zoo’s Phase 2 including a theme park, zip lines, and ATV rides.
