CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- The LausGroup-run CLTV 36 named over the weekend its newest reality talent show winner during the Starmill Season 3 Grand Finals held at the Robinsons Starmills.
Karl Aris Tanhuenco, 30, of Angeles City, was declared as Starmill Season 3 grand champion after garnering a combined score of 97.3 percent.
The "Sentimental Balladeer" bested the four other grand finalists and took home P1 million worth of prizes from CLTV36 and sponsors.
Prizes include a four-year college scholarship at Jocson College, furniture showcase, aircon, brand new motorcycle, roundtrip ticket and accommodation, skin care services, brand new smart phone and one year exclusive contract with CLTV36.
Meanwhile, "Sultry Siren" Alyssa Erasquin of Mabalacat City became second star placer and took home P750,000 worth of prizes, and "Golden Voice" Marnell Liwanag of Mabalacat City won as third star placer with P500,000 worth of prizes.
Alfonsa Alfonso of Magalang town and Malolos, Bulacan's Anton Caluag Jr. were named fourth and fifth star placers, respectively, and took home various consolation prizes.
