THE number of suspected coronavirus cases (formerly referred to as patient under investigation [PUI]) have again doubled to 618 cases according to an April 24 report of the Provincial Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit (Pesu) in Pampanga.
Thirty-one of the said cases have died, according to the report. Of 618 cases, 133 are currently admitted while 47 have been discharged. Some 129 are also currently in home quarantine.
There are currently 61 reported coronavirus positive cases in Pampanga. Some eight positive cases have already died. Of the 61 cases, some 31 patients are still admitted in hospitals while 23 have already recovered.
The most number of cases are in the City of San Fernando (14), Angeles City (9), Lubao (5) and Guagua (4).
