THE City Government of San Fernando continues to provide highly responsive healthcare to Fernandinos including government employees.
Some six casual employees who are currently working for different offices in the government were awarded prepaid plan medical cards at the city hall.
The awardees were Kevin Gopez of the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Department (CDRRMD), Maita Maliwat of the City Administrator's Office-Business License and Permit Division (CADMINO-BLPD), Percival Apuan of City Administrator's Office-City Market Operations Division (CADMINO-CMOD), Marvin Yumul of the City General Services Office (CGSO), Khevin Meneses of the City Health Office (CHO), and Romeo Mallari of the City Engineer's Office-Building Maintenance Unit (CEO-BMU).
The card is part of the city employees' health services program which ensures Fernandinos that there is a health care provider and instant medical coverage that can be used for medical emergencies, and in-patient care needs.
The diseases covered for in-patients include dengue, malaria, cholera, typhoid and paratyphoid, gastroenteritis, pneumonia, chikungunya and leptospirosis.
Casual employees are covered from 2019 to 2020.
