DA-Central Luzon pledges to conform with good governance practices

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- Employees and officials of the Department of Agriculture Regional Field Office (DA-RFO) in Cenral Luzon pledged to conform with good governance and corruption-free practices in an activity over the weekend.

Officer in Charge-Regional Director Crispulo Bautista, Jr. together with other officials and employees signed a commitment board as they fully commit to “service with transparency, utmost integrity, and morale dedication in helping our local farmers, fisherfolks, agri-preneurs and also Filipinos.”

“Inaanyayahan ko lahat ng opisyales at empleyado ng DA-RFO Central Luzon, kailangan nating sumunod sa sinumpaang tungkulin bilang kawani ng gobyerno. Ang serbisyo natin sa government ay hindi para sa ating sarili, dapat nating pagsilbihan ang ating mga magsasaka at mangingisda,” Bautista said.

Earlier, Agriculture Secretary William Dar challenged DA officials and rank-and-file employees in serving the Filipino people with competence and honesty during the Covid-19 pandemic.

“We must strive to erase the old-stricken image of a corrupt-driven department. Corruption is a disease, everybody needs to work together to curtail such bad reputation. A public office is a public trust,” Dar added.
