CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) hosted a media briefing Tuesday, November 26, 2019, at the Capitol compound on the different activities on Constitutional Reform (Core) program in the province.

The event was attended by various media outlets in Pampanga. This came as part of the road shows the Core is doing in the different regions as a venue where people are informed on constitutional reforms and federalism.

Core and the DILG are working hand-in-hand to disseminate vital information on constitutional reform and federalism to government institutions, local government units (LGUs), barangay officials, and even in communities.

Core advocacy campaign has the following components: constitutional reform provincial road show, constitutional reform civil society organization (CSO) coalition building, constitutional reform advocacy campaign to SK presidents and Liga ng mga Barangay presidents, and constitutional reform youth congress.

The DILG is tasked to implement the massive information and dissemination of the project with the assistance of the regional and provincial offices of the Philippine Information Agency nationwide.
