The OSS services include the identification of possible isolation facilities where ROFs may take their mandatory quarantine to prevent the spread of Covid-19.

The OSS at the airports have already served 2,121,868 ROFs since the beginning of operations last 23 April 2020.

DOTr Secretary Art Tugade said, "providing assistance to our kababayans, such as our OFWs, must be non-stop, as they are considered as our ‘modern-day heroes,’ along with our health workers, and other frontliners, who make selfless sacrifices, amid the unprecedented threat of the pandemic, just to ensure the welfare of their families."
