THE Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Bataan opened its 13th Negosyo Center located at the city hall compound in Balanga.
DTI Provincial Director Nelin Cabahug said the Negosyo Center will capacitate micro, small and medium enterprises in developing quality products and upscaling their business.
Cabahug said this will create more businesses, thereby generate more employment opportunities for the people in the community.
Services of the Negosyo Center include registration or renewal of business name, access to free training and seminars, market matching, product labeling and other business advisory services.
Each of the 11 towns and 1 city of Bataan has a similar facility in their respective locality.
The creation of Negosyo Centers in each local government unit is mandated under Republic Act 10644 otherwise known as the Go Negosyo Act, to support inclusive growth and economic development. (PR)
