MABALACAT CITY Mayor Crisostomo Garbo has ordered for free tomb painting and distribution of free candles.

This is the mayor's way of helping his constituents during the observance of All Saints' Day or Undas on November 1.

During a meeting with the city's Task Force Undas, Garbo shared that aside from his annual project of cleaning and painting tombs in the city's public cemeteries, he will also provide free candles to the city residents.

"I have instructed my team to conduct a survey to all niches of the public cemeteries and have them counted so that when the family visits, they won't have to buy a candle anymore," Garbo said.

Starting October 29 to November 2, the gates of both public and private memorial parks shall be open from 5 AM to 11 PM.

The Mabalacat City Traffic Enforcement Group has created traffic schemes which they posted on the city's official Facebook page (Mabalacat City News).

Garbo reiterated the importance of following the health protocol during this period.

"Kahit na pinayagan natin makabisita ang general public, mas mabuti pa rin na sumunod tayo sa alituntunin dahil andyan pa rin ang banta ng pandemiya," the mayor said.
