The University of the Week Philippines-Los Baños’ UP Mi-Abeyabe hosted Panimanman 2025, an inter-high school competition celebrating Kapampangan culture and tradition on March 29, Saturday at Pampanga High School in the City of San Fernando.
Panimanman 2025 was endorsed and accredited by the Department of Education Regional Office 3 through Advisory No. 027, S. 2025.
The event brought together junior and senior high school students from various schools in Central Luzon.
The students showcased their skills and deepen their appreciation for Kapampangan heritage in the activity.
The event carried the theme “Taguimpan: Karing balang misinsin a paninap, miagkas ing nasang lingapan ing Kulturang Kapampangan."
Panimanman 2025 highlighted the talents of young Kapampangans in six competitive categories: Impromptu Speech in Kapampangan, Spoken Word Poetry, Poster Making, Poesya Writing, Diorama Making, and the Panimanman QuizCon.
The event started with an opening program at 8 AM, followed by preliminary rounds for Spoken Word Poetry, Poesya Writing, Poster Making, and Impromptu Speech.
A Diorama Making contest was also held simultaneously.
In the afternoon, participants competed in the final round of the Impromptu Speech and the highly anticipated Panimanman QuizCon.
The awarding ceremony and closing program, held from 4:30 PM to 6 PM, recognized the outstanding performances of participants who embodied the spirit of Kapampangan excellence and culture.
