‘Lab for All’ launched in Bulacan

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO---After making its second round in Pampanga on July 7, the "Lab for All" caravan of President Bongbong Marcos and First Lady Louise Araneta-Marcos was launched in the province of Bulacan province on Tuesday.

The “Lab for All” launch in the City of San Jose del Monte was personally overseen by Araneta-Marcos herself, together with Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Secretary Rex Gatchalian.

A total of 4,000 financial assistance and family food packs were also given to pre-registered and walk-in beneficiaries.

An initiative of Araneta-Marcos "Lab for All" (Laboratoryo, Konsulta at Gamot Para sa Lahat) provides free consultation, health screening and assessment, laboratory tests, and makes medicines more accessible to ordinary Filipinos, especially the marginalized.

Some 3,000 beneficiaries also received P2,000 each under the DWSD's assistance to individuals in crisis situation (AICS) program during the caravan.

AICS serves as a social safety net or a stop-gap mechanism to support the recovery of individuals and families from unexpected crises such as illness or death of a family member, natural and man-made disasters and other emergency situations.
