Reelected Senator Lito Lapid has vowed to prioritize legislations that will help the underserved sectors of society.
Lapid assured the Filipino people that he remains committed to craft laws that directly benefit poor families.
“Pang-apat na termino ko na po ito bilang senador, at gagawin ko po ang lahat ng aking makakaya. Sisipagan po natin at maghahanap tayo ng mga batas para sa ating mahihirap na kababayan,” he said.
Lapid also thanked Filipinos who supported his reelection bid.
The veteran lawmaker placed 11th in the 2025 midterm senatorial elections, garnering 13,333,028 votes.
Lapid and the other winning senators were proclaimed by the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) on Saturday.
The other elected senators included Bong Go, Bam Aquino, Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa, Erwin Tulfo, Kiko Pangilinan, Rodante Marcoleta, Tito Sotto, Pia Cayetano, Camille Villar, and Imee Marcos.
