CITY OF SAN FERNANDO - A live-in couple allegedly distributing illegal drugs were arrested by agents of Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency and Quezon City police in a mall parking lot in Quezon City on Monday night.
The suspects were identified as Arnel Capulong and Neralyn Ocampo, both from Calumpit, Bulacan.
The couple were allegedly involved in the bulk distribution of methamphetamine hydrochloride (shabu) in Metro Manila and nearby towns of Bulacan.
About m100 grams of shabu valued at P680,000 and the marked money were recovered during the police operation.
A charge for violation of Section 5 (sale of dangerous drugs) in relation to section 26B (conspiracy to sell) of Republic Act 9165 is being readied against the suspects.
