Lubao residents get livelihood assistance

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO Residents of this town recently received livelihood packages from the government.

The assistance were awarded by the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) - Pampanga led by Director Arlene Tolentino and the local government headed by Mayor Esmie Pineda.

A total of 55 residents benefitted from the program which is under the DOLE Integrated Livelihood Project (DILP).

A total of 22 NegoKarts for vendors of street foods, vegetables, fish, fruits and meat products; 21 grocery items for sari-sari store owners; and, 12 sewing machines with initial materials were turned over during the event.

The local government unit also provided shirts, food and training to the beneficiaries, and P3,000 each for the startup capital.
