AFTER two years of interruption, the famous Caragan Festival of Mabalacat City will push through this year on February 27 to March 6.
The week-long Fiestang Caragan 2022 will feature fun-filled activities, the festival committee, headed by Mayor Cris Garbo, vowed.
The mayor assured that health standards will be implemented during the festival to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
"Expect a myriad of fun-filled activities for this year's edition of Mabalacat City's Fiestang Caragan," he said.
Councilor Win-Win Garbo, chairperson of the Fiestang Caragan 2022, said the City Government decided to bring back the Caragan festival after two years, as the people recover from the pandemic and slowly going back to their normal lives.
The councilor asked the Mabalaquenos to observe minimum health standards during the event to prevent coronavirus infection.
She invited the people of the city to participate in the festival. "Muli namin kayong inaanyayahan para dumalo at makisaya sa Fietang Caragan 2022," she added.
Other city officials who participated in the planning of the Fiestang Caragan 2022 are Vice Mayor Geld Aquino, project head Coordinator June Magbalot, city councilors and City Information Officer Jay Pelayo, among others.
