IN a bid to assist driver's license applicants, the local government of Macabebe in partnership with the Land Transportation Office is offering free driving courses and education to residents of this town.
The two-day activity will offer Theoretical Driving Course (TDC) for student permit applicants, and Comprehensive Driver's Education (CDE) for those are renewing their professional and non-professional driver's license.
LTO Memorandum 2019-2176 requires all applicants of student-driver permit to undergo the 15-hour TDC, while Section 3 of Republic Act 10930 mandates all driver's license holders to take refresher seminar and exam, or the CDE.
The activity will be held on June 20 and 21 at the Macabebe Hidden Paradise Training Center Gymnasium in Barangay San Francisco here.
Student permit applicants must be at least 16 years old and must present birth certificate, and marriage certificate for married woman.
Those who will be renewing their driver's license must only bring their existing license.
