A SUSPECTED illegal-drug peddler yielded more than P300,000 worth of illegal drugs in an entrapment operation launched in Macabebe town recently.
Pampanga Police Provincial Office Director Robin Sarmiento identified the arrested suspect as Macromar Nicodemus, a resident of Barangay Dau, Mabalacat City.
Sarmiento said Nicodemus is tagged as one of the high-value individuals on the list of the provincial police.
Seized from the suspect were four sachets of various sizes containing 55 grams of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride (shabu); buy-bust money; one caliber 38 revolver with five live ammunition and other pieces of evidence.
Complaints for Violation of Section 5 and 11 of Article II of the Republic Act (RA) 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act), Violation of RA 10591 (Illegal Possession of Firearm) and Comelec Resolution 10728 (Election Gun Ban) will be filed against the suspect before the Office of the Provincial Prosecutor.
