In observance of the Pyestang Camaru 2025, Mayor Malu Paras-Lacson has suspended classes in all levels for public and private schools on August 22, 2025, through Executive Order No. 23 Series of 2025.
The festival activities are scheduled to run from August 18 to August 24, 2025, and expected to foster community spirit and engagement among the Magalang residents, the mayor said.
Students from various schools in the agricultural municipality are set to participate in the town’s Street Dancing and Free Interpretation Festival on August 23.
Other activities lined-up for the Pyestang Camaru are Aldo ning Amanung Sisuan, August 18; Aldo da reng Ortelanu, August 19; 5th Mayor Malu Lacson Cup, August 20; Miss Magalang 2025, August 21; Dutdutan Camaru and Calutung Camaru, August 22; and Variety Show and Town Concert featuring Donekla and Over October, August 24.
The Pyestang Camaru of Magalang town was named as the best festival in Central Luzon by the Department of Tourism (DOT).
