A MOTORCYCLE rider was injured after falling from his scooter that was accidentally hit by a pickup truck in Mabalacat City, Pampanga Sunday morning, August 22, 2021.
The vehicular accident transpired at 8 a.m. along MacArthur Highway in Barangay Dau, this city.
David Formacek, 53, a Czech Republic national, who is staying at Pulung Amsic Subdivision, Angeles City was driving a Chevy Colorado pickup truck when he sideswiped the victim, Nikki Van Pineda, 25, of Barangay Dau.
Paramedics belonging to the city's disaster response team arrived few minutes after the accident happened and rushed the victim to a medical center.
Police said this is a possible case of reckless imprudence resulting to damage to property and physical injury.
SunStar Pampanga learned that the two parties agreed to an amicable settlement.
