

The Office of Civil Defense (OCD) in Central Luzon reported that 142,558 families or 474,935 persons were affected by the habagat and floods induced by Crising, Dante and other low pressure areas inside the country.
In its situational report released at 6 am on Wednesday, the agency said that 616 families or 2,020 persons are housed in 53 evacuation centers.
The OCD added that 7,718 families or 33,782 individuals affected by the weather disturbances are in their homes.
Of the 258 barangays affected, 31 are in Guagua, 30 in Lubao, 26 in Masantol, 25 in Macabebe, 14 in San Luis, 15 each in Candaba and Minalin, 13 each in Arayat and City of San Fernando, 12 in Apalit and all 12 villages in Sasmuan, 10 each in Sta. Rita and Mexico, 9 in Floridablanca, 8 each in Sto. Tomas and San Simon, 3 in Magalang, and 2 each in Bacolor and Porac.
There were no affected barangays or persons reported in the cities of Angeles and Mabalacat as of press time.
The OCD said that there were no reported casualties.
The agency disclosed that 438,513 families and 1,460,606 individuals were affected in 900 barangays in Pampanga.
Other provinces in Central Luzon reported flooding affected residents -- Aurora (31), Bataan (19), Bulacan (307), Nueva Ecija (62), Tarlac (172), and Zambales (51).
The agency said a total of 40 roads are not passable in Region 3 -- Pampanga (21), Bataan (11), Bulacan (3), Tarlac (4) and Zambales (1). A bridge in the province of Bulacan is not passable to all types of vehicles.
In a separate report, the Department of Public Works and Highways disclosed that the Apalit–Macabebe–Masantol Road, in Barangay Sta. Lucia Anac; Baliwag-Candaba-Sta Ana Road in Barangay San Agustin, Candaba; and San Antonio-Floridablanca Road in Barangay Siran, Guagua, were closed to traffic starting at 6 am on Wednesday.
Pampanga remains on Orange Rainfall warning alert. Classes in all levels, as well as work in government offices, remain suspended.
