The Municipal Government of Orani started Thursday, May 7, the fourth wave of distribution of relief goods to residents in light of the extension of the enhanced community quarantine in Bataan.

Mayor Efren Dominic Pascual Jr. said the fourth wave includes 30 pieces of eggs, one bundle of hotdogs and one pack of loaf bread.

“The schedule of distribution is every other day or everyday, depending on the availability of stocks. Barangay officials will coordinate with LGU Orani Relief Operation Team for the schedule of the distribution,” Pascual stated.

Prior to this, the Municipal Government already rationed half cavan of rice, canned goods, and vegetables via house-to-house distribution to residents in all 18 barangays in the town.

Moreover, barangay officials are also regularly preparing and delivering cooked meals to identified beneficiaries daily as per the Kusina sa Barangay program of the provincial government of Bataan.

“I hope we all continuously unite, cooperate and pray to overcome the challenges brought by this Covid-19 pandemic,” the local chief executive added. (PIA-Central Luzon)
