CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- Millions-worth of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride (shabu) were seized by combined operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and Philippine National Police in a buy-bust operation launched in Quezon City on Saturday, September 5, 2020.

PDEA-Central Luzon Regional Director Christian O Frivaldo, who spearheaded the operation, identified the suspects as Dionisio G. Infante Jr., and Arnel B. Corre both are 24 years old and residents of Barangay Batasan, Quezon City.

The sting yielded around half a kilo of shabu with an estimated street value of P3.4 million and the marked money used in the operation.

A charge for violation of section 5 (sale of dangerous drugs) in relation to section 26 paragraph B (conspiracy to sell) of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against the suspects.
