TWO drug suspects, including a minor, were arrested by Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)-Central Luzon during an entrapment operation launched in Concepcion Tarlac Wednesday evening, February 17.

PDEA-Central Luzon Director Christian Frivaldo said the 13-year-old male suspect was accompanying another suspect who was identified as Luciano Tumaque, 51.

Frivaldo said Tumaque was considered a big-time drug peddler as he was believed to be involved in the bulk distribution of methampethamine hydrochloride (shabu) in Tarlac and nearby towns of Pampanga.

Confiscated from Tumaque were about 500 grams of shabu with an estimated street value of P3.4 million, marked money and other personal belongings.

Tumaque will face charges for violation of Section 5 (sale of dangerous drugs) of Article II of Republic Act 9165, while the young suspect was turned over to Department of Social Welfare and Development.
