THE Provincial Government of Pampanga, through Governor Dennis Pineda, led the formal opening of the P80-million legislative building at the Capitol grounds on Tuesday, December 8, 2020, with provincial government officials and staff in attendance.

The new building is a three-story facility equipped with new meeting spaces for legislative functions, offices for board members and a new session hall that is two-times the capacity of the former session inside the old Capitol building. The facility also provides for adequate meeting spaces and an office for the secretary of the legislative body.

Vice Governor Lilia Pineda personally inspected the new building facilities, which are ready for occupancy. The building will be fully operational in the coming weeks.

The new legislative building has been constructed to decongest a part of the old Capitol building from human traffic. The new facility is also in response to the need for more office space to accommodate the sheer volume of people and activities of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan.
