CITY OF SAN FERNANDO The provincial government of Pampanga has bagged two awards for its effective local fiscal management.
The Bureau of Local Government Finance (BLGF) announced on Tuesday that Pampanga is among the National Top Performing Provinces in Local Revenue Generation for the year 2021.
Pampanga ranked third in Highest Locally Sourced Revenues among other provinces in the country.
The province is also the Top 5 province in Collection Efficiency of Locally Sourced Revenues
The BLGF said the awarding of National Top Performing Provinces, Cities, and Municipalities in Local Revenue Generation is aimed at recognizing of their efforts and performance towards sustainable growth and effective local fiscal management
The awards are ranked based on the BLGF Memorandum Circular (MC) No. 015.2022 dated 29 July 2022 which reported the accountabilities of LGUs under the LGU Integrated Financial Tools (LIFT) System.
The reports have been processed, analyzed, ranked and vetted by the BLGF Central and Regional Offices to recognize the Top LGU Performers for FY 2021.
The BLGF announces the list of the National Top Performing Provinces, Cities, and Municipalities in Local Revenue Generation for FY2021, together with the Local Revenue Generation Hall of Fame Awardees, in recognition of their exemplary efforts and performance towards sustainable growth and effective local fiscal management.
In line with BLGF Memorandum Circular (MC) No. 015.2022 dated 29 July 2022 the reporting accountabilities of LGUs under the LGU Integrated Financial Tools (LIFT) System have been processed, analyzed, ranked and vetted by the BLGF Central and Regional Offices to recognize the Top LGU Performers for FY 2021.
