THE total number of confirmed coronavirus disease (Covid-19) cases in Pampanga has reached 21,221, according to the June 1, 2021 data of the Department of Health (DOH).
The DOH data showed that 169 new cases were recorded for June 1 alone.
Of the total number of confirmed cases, 1,422 are still active, while 19,132 have recovered.
The DOH placed the total number of deaths from the disease to 667.
Contrasting data, however, was reported by the Pampanga Information Office (PIO) for June 1, as it placed the total number of confirmed cases to 19,905.
The PIO also reported 2,612 supposed active cases and 16,346 recoveries.
It said 947 people have died of the disease in Pampanga.
