Pampanga guv strengthens Covid-19 watch

TO KEEP Pampanga free from coronavirus disease (Covid-19), Governor Dennis "Delta" Pineda ordered the close monitoring of passengers arriving from South Korea to Clark International Airport Corp. (CIAC).

This is despite the absence of travel ban of travelers coming from said country.

The governor recently met with the local officials of Angeles and Mabalacat Cities, CIAC, Clark Development Corp. (CDC), Department of Health (DOH), Jose B. Lingad Memorial Regional Hospital (JBLMRH), Bureau of Quarantine (BQ), and Bureau of Immigration (BI) in Clark Freeport on February 27.

According to Pineda, the Provincial Government and the cities of Angeles and Mabalacat will deploy additional personnel to the BQ to assist in the monitoring of the passengers from South Korea.

"Magpapadala kami ng karagdagang tao na tutulong sa pagmonitor sa health declaration cards ng mga travelers na pumapasok sa ating probinsiya," he said.
