THE Department of Health (DOH) has announced another record high single-day increase of 676 new Covid-19 cases in Pampanga (including Angeles City) for August 30, as the total confirmed cases now climbed to 49,191.
Total active cases in the province, according to the tracker, are now at 4,398. Of the confirmed cases, 43,430 people have recovered, while 1,363 have died from the disease.
Pampanga alone has recorded 4,775 new Covid-19 cases in the last 14 days, while Angeles City recorded 1,344 cases during the same period.
Pampanga’s bed occupancy rate is currently at 79.8 percent. Only 280 of the 1,383 hospital beds in Pampanga health facilities remain vacant. Twenty-two health facilities are in critical level, while seven are at high risk.
