Pampanga records 377 active Covid-19 cases



THE total number of active coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) cases in Pampanga was at 377 cases as of Thursday, November 18, 2021, with some seven new cases recorded Wednesday in one of the lowest recorded incidences in the last eight months.

The Department of Health’s (DOH) official coronavirus tracker placed the total number of confirmed cases in the Pampanga since the start of the pandemic to some 68,798 cases with 66,709 recoveries. Coronavirus-related deaths in Pampanga have reached some 1,712 cases, according to the DOH.

Pampanga reported some 363 coronavirus cases in the last 14 days. Angeles City reported some 48 cases for the same period.

Some 12 people have died of the virus is in the entire province in the last 14 days.

The majority of the 47 health facilities in the province was experiencing a decline in the number of bed occupancies. The rate of occupancy in the region was currently at 14.4 percent, one of the lowest yet this year. This meant that some 935 of the total 1,489 hospital beds in Pampanga were currently available.

Only one health facility reached a critical level of bed occupancy and one facility was currently at high-risk level.
