Pampanga records 54 deaths of coronavirus suspected cases

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- The Provincial Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit (Pesu) recorded 54 deaths of coronavirus suspected cases as of May 10.

This as the total number of suspected cases continue to rise at 897. Of the said cases, 263 are currently admitted, while 181 are undergoing home quarantine. Seventy-eight have been discharged, while 185 tested negative.

The province recorded 79 coronavirus positive cases.

The Province said 45 of the said cases have already recovered from the viral infection but the Department of Health bulletin for May 10 only recorded eight recoveries for Pampanga.

Nine positive cases have died from the dreaded virus.

Seventeen cases were recorded in Angeles City alone, followed by 16 cases in the City of San Fernando.

Pampanga's first district, including Angeles City, and the third district have the most number of cases in the province as of this posting Monday, May 11.
