Pampanga teachers get food packs from Capitol

TEACHERS from the four districts of Pampanga received gift packs from Governor Dennis Pineda as part of the Provincial Government's assistance program during the Yuletide season amid the coronavirus disease (Covid-19) pandemic.

The assistance was part of the ongoing gift-giving for various sectors of the province. Some 17,938 food packs have been distributed for the education sector alone as of Tuesday, December 15.

In compliance with health standards, the gift packs were picked up at the Bren Z. Guiao Convention Center. Some 16,430 were allocated for Department of Education (DepEd) teachers. Some 482 packs were given to office personnel, 526 packs for personnel of Pampanga High School (PHS), and 500 packs for personnel of the Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU).

The gift-giving was led by the Provincial Library, Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office, Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, General Services Office and Provincial Manpower and Training Center.
