TARLAC CITY -- Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) donated P1 million to Tarlac Provincial Hospital (TPH) in support of its efforts in fighting the coronavirus disease (Covid-19).
PCSO Tarlac OIC-branch manager Caroline Yumul awarded the financial grant to Governor Susan Yap and TPH Chief of Hospital Gary Role.
Yap said this will be utilized for the procurement of testing kits and confinement assistance for the Covid-19 patients.
“This grant is purely for TPH use but we will seek another grant from the PCSO for the Moncada District Hospital and the La Paz Medicare and Community Hospital as they will also be used as quarantine facilities for persons under investigation,” Yap said.
PCSO and the Provincial Government of Tarlac inked a Memorandum of Agreement for the assistance fund through Resolution No. 079-2020. (PIA-Central Luzon)
