PDEA-Central Luzon dismantles 2 drug dens, arrests 10

TWO drug dens were dismantled while ten suspected drug personalities were arrested by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)-Central Luzon during the simultaneous implementation of search warrants in Nueva Ecija province on Sunday, September 2.

PDEA-Central Luzon Director Gil Pabilona identified the arrested suspects in the first search warrant as Juanito Arcega alis “Etok”, 44; Mel Gibson Arcega, 23; Marjorie Arcega Guitap, 27; Salome Arcega, 51; and Alex Williams, 54; all residents of Barangay DS Garcia in Cabanatuan, Nueva Ecija.

The implementation of the second search warrant also resulted to the arrest of Erlinda De Guzman alias “Indang Morales,” 50; Reynaldo Bongbonga, Jr., 25; Michael Francisco, 31; Mark Anthony Nepomuceno, 30; and Ali Domingo, 22; also all residents of Barangay DS Garcia in Cabanatuan, Nueva Ecija.

The simultaneous search warrant operations yielded 15 sachets containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu with an estimated weight of 30 grams with a street value of P204,000 and assorted paraphernalia.

The arrested suspects are now temporarily detained at the PDEA-3 Jail Facility for further investigation. Charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 are now being readied for filing in court.
