Pelco I: No brownout on May 14

MEXICO, Pampanga -- The Pampanga I Electric Cooperative Inc. (Pelco I) assured its consumers that there will be no brownout in its coverage areas on May 14, 2018 during the synchronized Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) elections.

In an interview, Pelco I general manager engineer Loliano Allas said that as far as the electric cooperative is concerned, it has no scheduled electric power interruption and that they are ready for any eventuality before, during and after the upcoming polls.

He added that there are instances when power interruptions are beyond the electric cooperative’s control considering the fact that it is now at the peak of the dry season and the demand for electric power is continuously increasing.

Allas assured that Pelco I’s management and maintenance personnel are on red alert status this summer to assure the electric cooperative’s operational readiness in case of any technical eventuality.

Pelco I caters to power consumers in the towns of Arayat, Candaba, Magalang, Mexico, Sta. Ana and San Luis in the province of Pampanga. (DPL)
