The new officers led by its president Philip Repato took oath before Pampanga Board Member Benny Jocson and Philexport National vice president for promotions division Leni Abella on July 4 at the new Royce Hotel and Casino.

Newly-inducted officers also include Francis Joseph Torres, Marilou Uy, Ma. Socorro Brill, Julieta Sarmiento, Ornida Calma, Jose Bituin, Crisanto Venzon, Remigio Lastimosa, Eric Sanchez, Bienvenido Anunciacion, and Jose Paolo Feliciano.

Also present during the induction ceremonies is CDC officer-in-charge for Business Development and Business Enhancement Group (BDBEG) Noelle Meneses, who represented Clark Development Corporation president and chief executive officer Agnes VST Devanadera.

The new set of officers thanked CDC for its support to their group especially their plans and projects including the development of a state-of-the-art showroom that will feature innovative and export-quality products.

“This mandate is not only humbling and overwhelming, but also challenging – a challenge that gives me much resolve in pursuing more than what has been set before me and steer the organization and our industry to greater heights,” Repato said.

Repato also enumerated the ongoing projects of Philexport 3 which includes the conduct of more competency enhancement programs that would better address and be more inclusive of the other sectors within our members; expanding a growing membership base to other sectors in order to widen the reach of our organization, and serve more sectors within the industry; the redevelopment of updated, more informative and relevant websites for both Philexport R3 and Deco Central that will allow members to remain informed and updated of the various events, programs and happenings in the organization and the industry as a whole among others.

Deco Central, a major project of Philexport R3, was born to provide members from the furniture and furnishings sector with a home store to cater to the domestic market.
